Something from Nothing

Opening day for the monthly Something from Nothing Up-Cyling challenge! Come in to vote on your favourite piece.

DO YOU LIKE A CHALLENGE?

DO YOU NEED A LITTLE MORE ART IN YOUR LIFE?

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR SOMETHING FUN TO DO WITH YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS?

Then “Something for Nothing” is for you! It is the FFAC’s new Monthly Up-cycle Challenge. Use your creativity to transform ordinary objects into pieces of art. There are no limits and only one rule: use the chosen item for each month. The contest is open to everyone; young or old, member or non-member.

The list of prompts for the year is available from the FFAC and it’s website, so you can start saving things now! Bring your creation to the art center at the end of each month so we can display it for the following month. While you are there, vote for your favorite item. Winners will have their names proudly displayed on a special “Something from Nothing” plaque in the center for all to see.

Join the fun!

Projects need to be picked up at the end of each display month.
